Mac, mac … mac, and other stuff
Sep 9th
Hey guys, I just recently bought a Macbook Pro, and it is AWESOME. I suggest that if you ever have the chance to buy a Mac, you do. It will be the best thing that has ever happened to you. Apart from maybe you learning to walk..
And also on the other ‘stuff’, I have to get my permissions sorted to upload pictures, so you won’t be seeing any pictures of my computer/me any time soon. Which is sad. ‘Cos you really want to see me.
Anyway, I am currently in the process of revising for my Science Common Test tomorrow, so I can’t make this too long. And also it you want me to translate anything into Latin or Spanish, I can do it because I am learning them both. It is pretty cool, especially when you go to Auckland Grammar because you have to learn it in Form 3.
Oh well, that’s me for today
¡Hasta luego, o cuando vemos nos!

Oh… Aptana.

Hey fellow followers,
I’m sorry I haven’t posted in AGES, I’ve just been really tired at school, and Facebook hasn’t helped.
Anyway, so I was talking to my good old friend Nateeo (nateeo.co.cc) and he suggested I try Aptana. And to be honest, I’d never even heard of Aptana. So I rocked on over to http://www.aptana.com/ and downloaded the BETA and the stable version. I will explain how to install it for all you slightly computer un-savvy people out there, and plus, I use Ubuntu, so it’s slighly harder ..
Let’s Go!
- Download it, obviously.
- It comes as a .zip, so extract, either with
tar -xvzf Aptana_Studio_3_Setup_Linux_x86_64_3.0.0.zipor unzip with Archive Manager - (Optional) I keep my Software in ~/Software, but it’s not essential
- At this moment, you should check that you have Java installed (Terminal:
java -version). You should have 1.6 or higher, but it is not essential. - Go into the Aptana folder, and if click on ‘AptanaStudio3′ it should run.
- If you want to, you can create a panel icon or menu shortcut. For the panel, Right-click on the panel -> Add to Panel… -> New Application Launcher then follow below. For the menu, right-click the menu/Ubuntu icon -> Edit Menus. Then add a new item in a folder of your choice.
- Name it what you like, Mine is called: ‘Aptana Studio 3′
- The command is
/home/<yourname>/<yourdirectory>/Aptana\ Studio\ 3/AptanaStudio3 - Have fun!

P.S. I’ll add an image tomorrow.

Hey fellow followers,
Since we are a couple of boys we have a thing called school to go to, and this is why we haven’t been posting much.
Frederick has changed school, but Will and Oscar are at the same school.

I am thinking of new ideas for the CSS template. I have made a draft of the CSS, including a logo in the top left corner with a fixed position. I shall talk to Fred…
